MUMBAI, India, Sept. 21, 2021 /PRNewswire/ — The dates for India’s largest virtual marathon – Hexaware Dream Runners Half Marathon (DRHM) have been announced. It is scheduled between October 2-10, 2021 and like the previous year, Hexaware, being ‘The Healthy Way of Life Company’, is the title sponsor for it.

Hexaware Dream Runners Half Marathon is an event that encourages participants to induce fitness in their lifestyles through structured training. All participants can run in the safety of their neighborhood. They can utilize the opportunity to receive health tips from experts and incorporate the same in their daily lives. The proceeds from this virtual marathon are used to benefit several causes.

In 2020, the virtual marathon witnessed participation from 3433 fitness enthusiasts from 10 countries. Among others, front-line Covid workers were prime beneficiaries of the funds from the event. For 2021, registrations are open and training sessions are being conducted.

Inspiring more people to participate, Akshay Bochia, Executive Vice President – NTS, Hexaware Technologies said, “I’ve been actively participating in Hexaware DRHM and I am glad to aid the worthy causes this virtual event supports. I firmly believe in – what we do for ourselves perishes, but what we do for others endures. Being a part of this marathon motivates me to keep myself fit and active. I feel, running for 5 to 10 minutes thrice a week, can improve cardiovascular fitness and muscle strength.”
