In a heartening display of environmental stewardship, Aster Volunteers from Aster RV Hospital jointly with Aster Volunteers of India Management Office (IMO), in collaboration with Fuzhio NGO, planted 1000 saplings in Kanakapura Road recently.

The initiative, aimed at promotingg environmental conservation and creating a greener future, saw a dedicated team of 85 Aster Volunteers from Aster RV Hospital actively and India Management Office participate in the tree plantation drive.

 

Commenting on the initiative, Ms. Sathyaja JP – Human Resources, Aster DM Healthcare, said, “This tree plantation drive serves as a strong testimony to our steadfast commitment towards environmental sustainability. Planting these 1000 saplings is a small but substantial step towards the creation of a greener environment for generations to come. We are incredibly proud of the dedication and enthusiasm displayed by our Aster Volunteers in making this event a success. We are also grateful for the valuable support extended by Fuzhio NGO in facilitating this key initiative.”

 

85 Aster Volunteers gathered at 6 am in the morning and travelled in two buses to Kanakapura from Aster RV. The Aster DM Foundation sponsored the 1000 saplings to be planted by the team on ground. The meticulously planned and executed tree plantation drive saw the volunteers plant saplings across a designated area located at Kallanakuppe village, Kanakapura taluk, Ramanagara district. This strategic location ensures the saplings receive optimal care and contribute significantly to the region's ecological balance.
