The Ammunition Cum Torpedo Cum Missile Barge, LSAM 21 (Yard 131) is a significant addition to the Indian Navy, marking the completion of the 7th barge in the 11 x ACTCM (Ammunition Cum Torpedo Cum Missile) barge project. This project is an initiative to enhance the operational capabilities of the Navy by providing integral support facilities for transportation and logistics.
The barge was constructed by MSME Shipyard, specifically M/s Suryadipta Projects Pvt Ltd located in Thane. This reflects the “Make in India” initiative, emphasizing indigenous design and manufacturing.
